Students can not only learn about space science and aerospace technology, but also experience the hard training of astronauts and meet and communicate with national astronauts. In order to let the public know more about astronaut training, the Hong Kong Space Museum is now arranging a sharing session.

The nomination for Young Takionaut Astronaut Training Camp 2023 is now open for local secondary schools from May 1 until May 31. Selected participants will experience astronaut training on the Mainland free of charge this summer to learn about space science, astronomy and China’s aerospace achievements. The Camp duration is from July 30th 2023 to the 6th August 2023 ..

Since 2009, the Hong Kong Space Museum has been in charge of coordinating the “Young Takionaut Experience Camp”. So far, more than 300 local secondary school students have participated in the astronaut experience course in Beijing Aerospace City, and visited important astronomical and aerospace facilities in China to learn about China’s aerospace industry. Development of technology….

Candidates should be nominated by their respective schools. Each secondary school can nominate no more than two students. There will be three rounds of selection – a quiz, a pre-tour training camp and an interview. Thirty candidates with the best performance will be selected to participate in astronaut training activities including the donning and doffing of spacesuits, a “space kitchen”, psychological training and blood-redistribution adaptability training. For students who are interested, try to seek nomination from school. It is your chance to experience astronaut training.

At the Hong Kong Space Museum with the 2017 group of thirty students undertake the important learning aspirations of being a Taikonaut -Chinese Astronaut..

The training camp is jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in association with the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre. The training camp is implemented by the Hong Kong Space Museum and sponsored by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.

In order to cultivate the interest of the young generation in Hong Kong in astronomy and space science, and deepen their understanding of the development and achievements of China’s aerospace technology, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce have jointly organized the “Youth Astronaut Experience Camp” since 2009. Select 30 middle school students to participate in astronaut experience courses in Beijing and Jiuquan during the summer vacation. The event is coordinated by the Hong Kong Space Museum, and the co-organizer is the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Center.

The 2023 Aerospace Day – Space Day of China 2023 poster has a typical Chinese traditional cultural characteristic of the “rebounding pipa” flying image, which represents ancient China’s yearning for the vast universe. It embodies the profoundness of traditional Chinese culture and the cosmology of ancient ancestors full of romantic imagination and heroic practical spirit.


The middle part is the waving astronauts and the “Dongfanghong” satellite, the Long March series of rockets, the “Tiangong Space Station”, “Zhurong”, “Chang’e” and “Xihe” and other milestones in China’s aerospace elements, showing that the astronauts have a vision for the future. With the hope and determination to explore the unknown, we will promote the development of the aerospace industry and devote ourselves to the aerospace dream of building a powerful aerospace country. The middle part of the picture depicts a group of teenagers yearning for science and running towards the future in the form of silhouettes. Advocate to create an environment and atmosphere for healthy growth and scientific exploration for young people, so as to continue the blood of China’s aerospace industry, continuously promote the development of the aerospace industry and the process of human exploration of the universe.



2023 “4•24” China Aerospace Day promotion poster HD original image….. On April 18th  2023, the CNSA -China National Space Administration organized a press conference on the 2023 “China Space Day” and officially released the 2023 “China Space Day” promotion Posters, list of outstanding works.

This event went through four stages of social media  collection, expert selection, online publicity, and review and release, and finally 12 outstanding works were selected. Among them, the poster designed by Fan Zhiming of Fujian Business School was finally determined as the 2023 “China Aerospace Day” poster.

The design of the poster includes four aspects: “Learn about things”, “Inquire about the sky”, “Continuing through the ages” and “Respect Anhui”.


In the picture, there are not only the image of “rebounding pipa” flying into the sky, but also figures such as Hou Yi and the dragon chariot in the portrait bricks of the Han Dynasty, the astrology map of the Song Dynasty, and auspicious clouds, which represent ancient China’s yearning for the vast universe; there are also astronauts, Dongfanghong Satellite , Long March series rockets, Tiangong space station, Zhurong, Chang’e, Xihe and other typical Chinese aerospace element symbols, highlighting the vigorous progress of China’s aerospace industry and depicting the aerospace dream of building a powerful aerospace country.

On the week on the 30th  March 2023 CMS China Manned SpaceCNSA-China National Space Administration  the crew of the Shenzhou 15 of the Tiangong-China Space Station Takionauts carried out the third out-of-vehicle activity. With the close cooperation of the ground staff and the Takionaut Deng Qingming in the cabin, the two out-of-vehicle Takionauts Fei Junlong and Zhang Lu successfully completed all the scheduled tasks and returned safely to the Wentian experimental cabin.

From the China Manned Space Office, on March 30, 2023, Beijing time, the crew of Shenzhou 15 Takionauts performed the third out of the cabin activity. With the close cooperation of the ground staff and the astronaut Deng Qingming in the cabin, the two out-of-vehicle astronauts Fei Junlong and Zhang Lu successfully completed all the scheduled tasks and returned safely to the Wentian experimental cabin. Since the manned mission of Shenzhou 12 in 2021, four astronauts have carried out a total of 10 out-of-vehicle activities, making breakthroughs and mastering a series of key technologies. At present, out-of-vehicle activities have become a routine work for astronauts in orbit. The follow-up will continue to be carried out on a normal basis according to the needs of the task.
