LandSpace Blue Arrow Aerospace’s Suzaku-2 Yao-2 carrier rocket is currently scheduled to be launched at station 96 of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China on the afternoon of July 12, 2023!

This launch mission will verify the independent development capability of the entire system of the Suzaku-2 liquid launch vehicle and challenge the world’s first orbital liquid oxygen methane rocket. It is of milestone significance.

On the  4th May 2023酒泉衛星發射中心 Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center LandSpace Blue Arrow Aerospace Center,   LandSpace 蓝箭航天Suzaku-2 Yao-2  Carrier rocket successfully arrived at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center Blue Arrow Aerospace Rocket Launch Site The Suzaku-2 Yao-2  Carrier rocket set off from the Jiaxing rocket manufacturing base of LandSpace Blue Arrow Aerospace Center,   LandSpace 蓝箭航天on May 4, 2023, passing through dozens of provinces City, after more than 3,700 kilometers and a total of 9 days, it successfully arrived at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center Blue Arrow Space Rocket Launch Site on May 12, 2023.

Members of the Suzaku No. 2 Carrier Rocket also its No. 2 test team also rushed to Jiuquan from various places to join forces with the rocket, and began to start various preparations before unloading and hoisting the sub-stage rocket body and testing in the technical area.

On March 19, Liu Jian, vice president of Blue Arrow Aerospace Space Technology Co., Ltd. and general manager of the Technical Cooperation Center, visited Wenchang International Space City Administration, to conduct exchanges on the proposed cooperation matters of the Reusable Rocket Key Technology Research Center. Suzaku-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket flight failure passed the zero-reset review On March 18, 2023, Blue Arrow Aerospace Science and Technology Co., Ltd. organized a zero-reset review meeting for the abnormal shutdown failure of the second-stage aircraft of the Suzaku-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket. After deliberation, the evaluation expert group unanimously believed that the abnormal shutdown fault problem of the second-stage engine of the Suzaku-2 remote-1 launch vehicle was accurately located and the mechanism was clear. The fault recurred in the ground test of the engine.



The Suzaku-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket ignited and took off at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China at 16:30 on December 14, 2022. The first-stage flight, first- and second-stage separation, second-stage ignition, and fairing separation were all normal. After the second-stage host was shut down The tour plane shut down abnormally, and the launch mission failed. After the failure of the mission, Blue Arrow Aerospace established a zero-return working group to organize failure analysis, locate the cause of the failure, and analyze the failure mode and mechanism. Through the detailed analysis of the flight telemetry data, a comprehensive simulation analysis calculation and a series of test verification and hot test work were planned to find out the cause and mechanism of the failure. The abnormal shutdown fault of the second-level swimming machine is located in the rigidity mismatch between the oxygen delivery pipe of the swimming machine and the low-pressure casing of the oxygen pump, and the low-pressure casing has insufficient strength margin. The game machine shuts down abnormally. In view of the cause and mechanism of the failure, Blue Arrow Aerospace has adopted a number of improvement measures to improve the structural safety factor and reduce the impact of water hammer. The improvement measures have been verified by simulation analysis and calculation and ground test vehicle assessment, and can meet the flight requirements.

On the14th December 2022 1630 Hours Hong Kong SAR – Beijing Time LandSpace 蓝箭航天LandSpace Blue Arrow Aerospace Center,  carried out an interesting successfully launched Test flight first test mission on  a new private commercial launch Carrier vehicle Suzaku 2 in which the first stage of the carrier rocket performed normality to the conditions . While been launched from LandSpace Launched complex at Jiuquan Satellite launch center, Inner Mongolia, China, People’s Republic of China.

Launch carrier Rocket vehicle Suzaku-2 at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The first-stage and second-stage hosts of the rocket were flying normally, but the second-stage pilot was working abnormally, and the launch mission failed.
