The three astronauts will stay in the space station and “join up” with the crew of Shenzhou 15 to carry out on-orbit handover “face-to-face” meeting in which brings the total crew of six with a handover ceremony from Shenzhou 15 towards 16..

As of 09:31 on July 16, 2023, “Shenzhou 16” Takionauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu, and Gui Haichao have been flying for 47 days. The total flight time ranking is undergoing a new change.

Takionaut Jing Haipeng has carried out four manned missions including “Shenzhen 7”, “Shenzhen 9”, “Shenzhen 11” and “Shenzhen 16”. long Takionaut. The “Shenzhen VII” spacecraft ignited and took off at 21:10 on September 25, 2008, and landed at 17:37 on September 28. The flight time of the astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng was 2 days, 20 hours and 27 minutes. From 18:37 on June 16, 2012 to 10:05 on June 29, astronauts Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang, and Liu Yang carried out the “Shenzhen Nine” mission in 12 days, 15 hours and 28 minutes. From 07:30, October 17, 2016 to 13:59, November 18, 2016, Takionauts Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong partnered to carry out the “God 11” mission, with a flight time of 32 days, 6 hours and 29 minutes. Before the “God 16” mission, the total flight time of Jing Haipeng’s first three missions was 47 days, 18 hours and 24 minutes.

As of 16:07 on July 16, 2023, Jing Haipeng’s total flight time will reach 95 days and 1 hour, surpassing Liu Boming and ranking 11th among Chinese Takionauts. Liu Boming has carried out two missions including “Shenzhen 7” and “Shenzhen 12”. The total flight time was 95 days and 35 minutes.

During the period when the “Shenzhen XVI” crew was in orbit, large-scale space science experiments were carried out on a rolling basis, and the work of space application systems such as the out-of-cabin installation of the space radiation biology exposure experiment device in the “Mengtian” experimental cabin has been completed as planned. At the same time, the “Shenzhen XVI” crew is preparing for the first out of the cabin, which will be the first out of the third batch of astronauts, who will perform it? What extravehicular work will be done?

[Space Station Mengtian Capsule Space Radiation Biological Exposure Experimental Device successfully launched]
On the June 9-10, 2023 Beijing time, through the overall organization and coordination of space applications, with the support of the Takionaut system, China space station system, Beijing Flight Control Center and related systems, The space radiation biology exposure experiment device in the Mengtian experimental cabin of the space station (hereinafter referred to as the space radiation biology device) was grabbed by the robotic arm and left the cargo airlock.

Starting work! 空间Tiangong radiation device out of the cabin of the Mengtian module Shenzhou 16’s “doctoral crew” entered the space station for about two weeks, and quickly carried out a lot of work such as sorting out materials and loading out of the cabin. Come and take a look at three highly educated Takionauts working on the space radiation biology device out of the cabin in orbit, and quickly entered the working state!

The space radiation biology device is the first out-of-cabin load of the Mengtian Capsule. It is used to carry out research on the biological effects of environmental elements such as space particle radiation on sample materials. It can meet the timeliness, temperature, etc. Requirements to provide life support for scientific experiments on biological samples….
