The rocket engine used in this round of test runs is a combination of 80-ton and 10-ton “Tianque” liquid oxygen methane engines….

Previously on 30th January 2021  during a rocket engine testing that  lasted for “Five times in eight days, Blue Arrow Aerospace’s 80-ton engine completes 2000 second reliability test run” January 30, 2021, the 12th “Tianque” 80-ton liquid oxygen methane engine completed the long-range reliability test run with a test run time of 400 seconds . The engine has undergone five consecutive long-distance tests on 23-30 days, with a cumulative duration of over 2000 seconds, covering 13 times the flight duration. This round of testing also carried out high and low thrust, high and low mixing ratio, limit inlet pressure and temperature tests, which fully verified the reliability and stability of the engine….

The second-level power system of Zhuque-2 adopts the “80+10” scheme, which is composed of a “Tianque” 80-ton TQ-12 engine (main engine) and a “Tianque” 10-ton TQ-11 engine (swinging machine) in parallel. , The two machines share the control and blow-off module. This round of test runs were carried out on November 13, 15, and 17 respectively. It is the first round of hot test after the TQ-11 and TQ-12 engines are combined. It mainly assesses the feasibility of the second stage engine system and the final assembly structure of the Zuzque-2 carrier rocket. The performance, the coordination of the work between the main engine and the swimming aircraft, verified the rationality of the start-up and shutdown procedures of the secondary engine, obtained the thermal environment parameters of the secondary engine, and evaluated the thermal protection scheme of the secondary engine under the swaying conditions. During the test run, the engine mixture ratio was continuously adjusted within a certain range, so that the overall flight evaluation has more accurate data available…..

朱雀二号液体运载火箭二级火箭发动机联合试车圆满成功

11月13至17日,蓝箭航天顺利完成朱雀二号火箭二级发动机联合试车。本轮试车的火箭发动机由80吨和10吨级的“天鹊”液氧甲烷发动机组合而成。…

朱雀二号的二级动力系统采用“80+10”方案,由“天鹊”80吨TQ-12发动机(主机)和1台“天鹊”10吨级TQ-11发动机(游机)并联组成,两机共用控制、吹除模块。其中TQ-12发动机主要作为火箭二级飞行段的主推进力,TQ-11发动机则为火箭二级姿态控制及精确入轨提供动力。

本轮试车分别于11月13、15、17日进行,是TQ-11、TQ-12两型发动机合体后的首轮热试车,主要考核朱雀二号运载火箭二级发动机系统和总装结构方案可行性、主机和游机的工作协调性、验证了二级发动机起动关机程序的合理性,获得了二级发动机的热环境参数,并考核了游机在摇摆条件下二级发动机热防护方案。试车过程中对发动机混合比在一定范围进行连续调节,使总体在进行飞行评估时有更多可用的准确数据。

The launch vehicle control system swings the engine through a high-power electromechanical servo system and performs engine thrust vector control to achieve rocket attitude stability and high-precision control. In the test, the engine completed a maximum angle swing of ± 8 °, the swing frequency covered 0-20Hz, and the sine wave, triangle wave and square wave swing tests were carried out. This test is an important breakthrough in the initial sample development stage of Tianque’s 80-ton liquid oxygen methane engine and Zhuque-2 carrier rocket. Prior to this, Blue Arrow Aerospace has completed the relevant tests of the engine system test and long-range test.

This test is the first matching verification of the engine and rocket control system.
