Since 1904 in Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, the Founded Hong Kong Tramways have always been the benchmark hallmark inspiration of the MTR Corporation, in which it transported countless two hundred passengers per daily, 10.4 Million per year averagely….  Within the Hong Kong Tramway route is the countless untold stories that transited ride throughout tramways system on Hong Kong Island …. The “Ding-Ding” in which iconically called for the stopping signal bell that it makes to signal a stop onto to the various stops in between from west to east side of Hong Kong Island..  in which the Hong Kong Trams have been undergoing many evolutionary changes as it progressively moved with the times in Hong Kong’s untold Tramways stories, in which is like a time machine that collect stories from memorable timeless moments in everyone lives whom travelled within with those historic furnishings also whom watched travelled away as it grew up with the evolution of changing Hong Kong SAR city region of China –People’s Republic of China..

For the first time, HK Tramways collaborates with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), their Resident Conductor Mr. Lio Kuokman and renowned Music Producer Mr. Chiu Tsang-hei to re-arrange Leroy Anderson’s famous orchestral piece “The Typewriter” for the creation of the “Ding Ding Music”.

Apart from the signature tram bell sound, the “Ding Ding Music” also incorporates jingles of the controller and air brakes recorded on our beloved Tram #120. We hope that everyone can now enjoy a new dimension of music journey with the company of Ding Ding!

Renowned Music Producer Mr. Chiu Tsang-hei “ One Day a friend from the HK Philharmonic Orchestra asked me, is there’s any music related to the tram that can be re-arranged to celebrated this special occasion ……. “   Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), their Resident Conductor Mr. Lio Kuokman– “ This is a Musical work originally written  for typewriter and orchestra, We have replace the sound of the typewriter with the iconic “Ding-Ding” sound of theTram in a an adaptation by  Mr. Chiu Tsang-hei……  Managing Director of HK Tramways Mr Cyrill Aubin- “ In HK Tramways, we are very used to collaborate with artists, we collaborated with painters, sculptors, street artists surprisingly, we never really explored the potential of  our very Ding- Ding Sound “  Chief Executive of  Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr Benedikt Fohr ….”and if It brings a smile on their face then that’s already a lot of what we can achieve….. “Managing Director of HK Tramways Mr Cyrill Aubin – The Main message that we want to send to the people of Hong Kong is be proud of your city that’s an amazing place to be “.. In which One is Tram inspector Tsang Yuen Fong, in which her story begins when a friend of her recommended her to work in which her friend Fong joined as a MotorWoman in which throughout her hard work since joining in 2010, in being outstanding with merits of socialising with her passengers also her staff she was quickly promoted to Inspector, Regulator..

As Tsang Yuen Fong, joined she saw, numerous new and exciting things on the streets in during the time as a MotorWoman, in which broaden her horizons, as working for the Tramways there was other opportunities, in which she applied to different positions in which having different positions gave her a chance to experience different positions in enhancing her skillsets.. during those times in 2013, she meet an colleague in which latterly that colleague became her husband, that year… in which working in the same environment, spending time together makes them happily..

Another story is MotorWoman Fung Wai Kam, moving back towards Hong Kong, after she gotten married in 1990, in which her journey started with that Shanghai ride when she was at eighteen, in which there was younger recollections, she remembers a tram stop on the door step of her home, in which she was in least ten of age her parents would go onto shopping excursions in which the main mode of getting around is always taking the tram…. As they Fung Wai Kam, and her parent wait for the Tram, the sound of the Ding-Ding arriving, in which excites her always.. in which when she was in her thirty’s the Trams evolved into double decker’s with advertising in which made them colourfully beautiful.. in which joining up as a MotorWoman, she enjoys the learning asspects of the Driving-engineering the Trams for Twenty years amazingly..

 

Joining the Hong Kong Tramways, as mystery passenger, now Assistant Operations Manager – Jack Kwan, or they call him respectively as Kwan Sir.. In which he previously write reviews, their driving skills, of Motor Women and Men also commentary of their servicement of passengers also towards services.. .in which previously in the past experience he serviced Baron Margaret Thatcher in 1993, also partaking in launching a new service in the Tramways of the TramOramic Touring in 2016…. His current endeavouring goal is to teach, inspired future generations for the growth of the Company..

In which his journey started after graduation, also helping out the family business working on multiple employment as also clerk, delivery orders, collecting outstanding payments, quotas.. as he works and journeys in between work, it’s always between Central and Sheung Wan.. in which one moment standing in middle of the road, when the trams passes by, excitingly in which progressively joins the Tramway management, in which participating the company’s development process with this in mind it helps him become motivated..

Billy Tam- fitness entrepreneur of Warrior Hong Kong rides the Hong Kong Tramways for daily commuting in which he has some interesting stories to tell..

One of countless stories of the Passengers whom ride the Ding Ding’s is one thirty four year old, Billy Tam, a Fitness Entrepreneur, in which his is a neighbourhood story,  that when you ride the Hong Kong trams on Hong Kong Island, you’ll see an assortment of historic, nostalgic  to present  modernized areas of Hong Kong.. in which it inspires him with the assortments of diverse people from those neighbourhoods, in which he works for his business also various other business apart being a Gym owner- fitness Entrepreneur of Warrior Hong Kong in which he adapted from his work, life experiences from living in Los Angeles, in which he constantly wakes up early at six in the morning.. to catch the morning tram ride, in which he previously open a Yogurt store in which exploring the neighbourhood along the Tramways route, he found a small interesting area, nearby Victoria Park and Saint Paul Convent School.. In which getting of the tram to explore.. He founded many students and girls loved to treat themselves with yogurt.. from then he open one up, finding an opportunity, locating the yogurt store in Causeway bay  in which is a trendy setting district, face paced… in which has a lower rental rates, than other nearby districts, also transportation was very convenient too, as  if Billy Tam didn’t travel along the tram, he figured out that this would never happen..

In which as younger Billy Tam, he know of didn’t appreciate the history of the tram, but now it’s a different story, in which it has an intimate historical relationship of how it tells him the timeliness, tracks, routes of the of the daily commotions of the its life..

There’s one story that one Tramway Engineer Driver whom been servicing towards the public for eighteen years, in which as Veteran Driver Engineer… Driving the TramOramic Tour Tram in which takes you on a 1920’s style trams with an open top towards writing your own stories as you city landscape sightseeing the layers of living history, culture of Hong Kong Island throughout along the Des Voeux Road –Sheung Wan, also Causeway Bay by seeing the pages of history in unveiling..

As for TramOramic Tour Tram Driver Engineer, Chan Siu Chung with Cheerfully character manner, in providing professional mannerism in which greeting hundreds of tourist every day… in which earn him being praise by passengers throughout the planet… in which one tale  that one of his passengers have left his Camera behind in which, he stopped the tram for a while till he found him chasing him down the street returning the passenger’s Camera from the emotional return of the camera the tourist when from panicked to overjoyed, in that response it was rewarding for Chan Siu Chung happy and satisfied.. Ever since then the tourist whom was overjoyed having his camera returned tells the tale of Hong Kong, also the Tramways speaking fondly of the people of Hong Kong..  bringing a sense of fulfillment to all the front line staff……

In which her main tour takes place in either in various meeting points of the Hong Kong MTR stations or the Traditional of transportation is the tramway system where the tourist get to know the culture, the people well and experience the livings and environments of Hong Kong in a slower pace of a warp speed city…

Starting out her two years tours in the making… In which her tours are so very intricate where she takes her guest group to public housing estates to experience the living environments of Hong Kong in which after the tour her new founded group have a much better intimate understanding about the Hong Kong, Chinese culture grounding than before..  as much the riding the Tramways gives you an intimate reading as the sentences, paragraphs unfold on so many layers in where which one passenger whom was with Ashley Yue HK Food Crawlers group recently took the trams and could remember either where he started from either he was Sheung Wan or Sai Wan, he got on the tram and went to Sai Wan Ho, He was so excited after the ride, When he met me in the MTR Station which was our meeting point, in which he told me about the ride and felt superb.. He was a European, Dutch citizen… it was his first time on the tram… And the experience was special to him.  After the tour he said he must take the tram again…

In one case where. When asked about her most memorable Ding Ding story, it was “food” again. Ashley once took a spontaneous trip to Happy Valley, where she met the owner of a Chinese restaurant called Lotus Garden. Even though they only met a few times, the owner gave her a signature turnip cake as a gift for Chinese New Year.
