[Two new key products undergo real flight test assessment! The Long March 2D launch of six satellites in one rocket was a complete success! ]

The satellite-rocket separation mechanism of this rocket adopts a non-electric explosion separation mechanism to better ensure the design of the satellite separation timing; the rocket is equipped with a high-precision miniaturized ten-meter fibre optic inertial group and an arrow machine for flight test testing. Without affecting the main mission, the two key products were subjected to real flight test assessment, which is another step forward for the application of subsequent models.

This launch is the 91st launch of the Long March 2D carrier rocket, the 218th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets developed by the Eighth Academy, and the 536th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.

On the 0854 hous morning 15th October 2023  Wednesday Hours Hong- Kong SAR – Beijing time CNSA –China National Space Administration , China, People’s Republic of China. Successfully launched the Yonggan 33 Remote Sensing satellite with the Chang Zheng- Long March 2D Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Inner Mongolia, China, People’s Republic of China, and then successfully sent the Yunhai-104 satellite the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was completed successfully.

The mission payload “Yunhai-1” 04 satellite was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute). Yunhai-104 The satellite was successfully put into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly used in the fields of atmospheric and marine environment element detection, space environment detection, disaster prevention and reduction, and scientific as atmospheric and marine environment element detection, space environment detection, disaster prevention and reduction, and scientific experiments.

“Long March 2D” is a medium-sized two-stage normal-temperature liquid launch vehicle developed by the Eighth Academy of Sciences. The main power of the entire rocket is dinitrogen tetroxide/uniform dimethyl hydrazine propellant. The arrow is 41 meters long, with a diameter of 3.35 meters for both the first and second levels, a take-off mass of 250 tons, a take-off thrust of 302 tons, a low-Earth orbit (LEO) transport capacity of 4.0 tons, a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) transport capacity of 1.5 tons, and 700 The SSO transport capacity per Kilometer is 1.3 tons. This rocket uses a fairing with a diameter of 3.35 meters. This mission is the shortest working time of the “Long March 2D” at the launch site. Since its successful first flight, the “Long March 2D” rocket has achieved 82 consecutive victories, continuing to set a record for consecutive victories for a single-type launch vehicle in my country.

This launch is the 10th launch of the “Long March 2D” rocket in 2023, the 26th launch of the Jiuquan launch site, the 47th launch of China, and the 167th launch of the world. At the same time, this launch is the 199th launch of the Eighth Academy’s “Long March” series of launch vehicles and the 491st launch of the “Long March” series of rockets. The “Long March” rocket is about to usher in its 500th launch.

This mission is the 491st flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles
