During the late weeks of December 2018, in which In Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, in its celebrated the opening officially in the new Years of 2019, in the series of the officially events, in which on one of those events celebrated is the on the 29th December 2018, in which The Authority expressing delighting thanks to towards the Construction of the newly West Kowloon Xiqu Center Shareholders..  in which located in 88 Austin Road West, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong….

In which they celebrated on that with various celebrative events among it was a family event in which all the Design and Construction stakeholders.. in showing them the Xiqu Center with the revealing of the dedication inscribe memorial towards whom contributed towards the Xiqu Center project.. in which that memorial inscriptional “ I Like to Empower everyone.. If you Walk here and fell a little taller.. I am Happy – Bing Thom, Masterminded of the Design of Xiqu Center “  in scribe in Traditional Chinese Characters ..   in which was unveiled by Mrs Bonnie Thom..

The Host of the ceremony was Chairman of the board of the West Kowloon Cultural District – Authority – Mr Henry Tang… in which he have spoken “I know the guest and friends here today have Participated in the Xiqu Centre project in different stages, parts and capacities, from the Design Competition, Construction to the opening of the venue, I sincerely thank you for your hard work to create this world class performing arts venue,…..”  in which after the ceremony  they were treat with performances in the Tea room..  with traditional Chinese food and Tea..

The tea house has always been an important public platform in the history of Chinese traditional theatre, with the combination of tea, snacks and performances a major part of the lived culture for many the people in the early development of Xiqu. When the Xiqu Centre opens in West Kowloon in 2018, it will house an elegant 200-seat traditional style Tea House Theatre for intimate, small-scale performances, like the one featured here. This event offers a chance to experience a traditional style event and get a glimpse of the type of performances the future Xiqu Centre Tea House Theatre will present.
