【The launch of the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft was a complete success】
At 4:27 am on October 30, 2024, Beijing time, the Long March 2F Yao 19 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft ignited and launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. About 10 minutes later, the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket and entered the predetermined orbit. The astronaut crew was in good condition and the launch was a complete success.
After the spacecraft enters orbit, it will conduct autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking with the space station assembly according to the predetermined procedure. The Shenzhou 19 Takionaut crew will rotate in orbit with the Shenzhou 18 Takionaut crew. During their work and life in the space station, the Shenzhou 19 Takionaut crew will conduct multiple extravehicular activities, carry out experiments and applications in the fields of microgravity basic physics, space materials science, space life science, aerospace medicine, and aerospace technology, and complete various tasks such as the installation of space station debris protection devices, and the installation and recovery of extravehicular payloads and extravehicular platform equipment.
This mission is the fourth manned flight mission of China’s manned space program in the space station application and development stage, the 33rd launch mission since the project was launched, and the 543rd flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
At present, the space station complex has entered the docking orbit and is in good working condition, meeting the conditions for rendezvous and docking with the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft and Takionauts to enter.

[Finally we meet again! Fifth Space Meeting ]
After the manned spacecraft and the space station complex successfully achieved autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, the Shenzhou 19 Takionaut crew entered the orbital module from the spacecraft return capsule. At 12:51 Beijing time on October 30, 2024, the Shenzhou 18 Takionaut crew, which was performing a mission in orbit, successfully opened the “door of home” and welcomed the Shenzhou 19 Takionaut crew from afar to settle in the Chinese space station. The “post-70s”, “post-80s” and “post-90s” astronauts gathered in the “Tiangong” to complete the fifth “space meeting” in the history of Chinese spaceflight. Afterwards, the two Takionaut crews took a “family portrait” and jointly reported their safety to the people of the country who were concerned about them.
Later, the two Takionaut crews will rotate in orbit at the space station. During this period, the six astronauts will work and live together in the space station for about 5 days to complete various established tasks…….

On October 26, 2024, the three Takionaut s of Shenzhou 19 simulated the flight mission according to the process. After entering the spacecraft’s return capsule, they began the joint inspection and testing of man, spacecraft, rocket and ground, and completed all key operations of the standby phase and takeoff phase during the rocket’s simulated takeoff.
On October 28, 2024, according to CCTV News, the launch of the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft was imminent, and the astronauts’ transportation vehicles were replaced by the “Hongqi Fleet” for the first time. The vehicle that undertook the Takionaut transportation mission this time was the Hongqi Guoyue Concierge Car, which had undergone targeted modifications and upgrades. It was equipped with double-layer silent glass, carpet, and refrigerator. The length of the car was increased by 29 centimeters, and the number of seats was reduced to facilitate the Takionauts wearing heavy space suits. There were only eight large characters on the license plate, “Nothing can go wrong and a complete success”, which embodied the best wishes for the astronauts’ mission.
On October 29, 2024, according to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, after research and decision by the Space Station Application and Development Phase Flight Mission Command, the astronaut crew for the Shenzhou 19 manned flight mission will consist of three Takionauts: Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze, with Cai Xuzhe as the commander. The crew includes one Takionaut from the second batch and two astronauts from the third batch. [Shenzhou 19 completes full system rehearsal]
The Shenzhou 19 ship-rocket combination was transferred to the launch area on the 22nd of this month, and is scheduled to be launched at an appropriate time in the near future. Today, the launch site organized various units to carry out a full system rehearsal.
All positions of the test and launch system of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center participated in this rehearsal. Under the unified dispatch of the launch site system, the tower, rocket, spacecraft and other subsystems carried out functional inspections, and implemented a full-process simulation exercise from flight preparation, ignition and takeoff to ship-rocket separation. The three astronauts of Shenzhou 19 performed the flight mission in accordance with the process simulation. After entering the spacecraft’s return capsule, they began a joint inspection and test of people, ships, rockets, and the ground, and completed all key operations of the standby and takeoff stages during the rocket’s simulated takeoff. The astronaut system also carried out preparatory work such as medical examinations of the crew, and conducted 1:1 rehearsals of tasks such as the departure ceremony, cabin status settings, and post-entry procedures
