Today, China successfully launched a satellite internet technology test satellite into space using a Long March 2D carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The mission was a complete success. This satellite will primarily be used to conduct experimental verification of technologies such as direct broadband connection to satellite for mobile phones and the integration of space and ground networks.
