On the week of 7th October 2025 Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time CNSA –China National Space Administration , China, People’s Republic of China Looking down from the Tiangong China -Chinese space station…… Little Robotic Arm Takes You to See the Earth ….. In the symphony composed by the universe, Earth is like a unique blue note, playing a beautiful melody with the vast galaxy. On the first day after the holiday, let’s enjoy the beautiful planet captured by the little robot arm. (Some images have been accelerated) ….. Tiangong九季…
The Tiangong space station has a 5-meter (16.4 ft) robotic arm on the Wentian module for tasks requiring high precision, like supporting spacewalks, transferring experiments, and installing small hardware, as well as a 10-meter (33 ft) arm on the Tianhe module and two smaller indexing arms for module relocation. Function and Purpose
High-Precision Tasks:
This smaller arm is more agile and 5 times more accurate in positioning than the larger arm, making it ideal for delicate tasks.
Support for Extravehicular Activities (EVAs):
It assists astronauts during spacewalks by transferring hardware and providing support.
External Maintenance:
It can help with the maintenance and repair of the station’s exterior and the Xuntian optical space telescope.
Hardware Transfer:
It retrieves and installs scientific instruments and other hardware on the station’s external points from the Mengtian module’s cargo airlock.
Key Features
Location: Mounted on the Wentian module.
Length: 5 meters (approximately 16.4 feet).
Payload Capacity: Can carry payloads of up to three tonnes (3.3 tons), though this is about one-eighth of the larger arm’s capacity.
Camera: Equipped with a camera to allow for scanning and examining the exterior of the stat
