At 0231 Hours Hong Kong SAR- Beijing Time on An early morning of 9th December 2022 , China- People’s Republic of China- CNSA –China National Space Administration Successfully launched the New Next Generation Long March – Chang Zheng 2D modified Yao 45 carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center Shanxi Province rocket successfully launched the Gaofen-5 01A Earth Sciences satellite…
This year’s 57th launch, At 02:31 on December 09th , 2022, China, People’s Republic of China used the Chang Zheng- Long March 2D Yao 45 carrier rocket to successfully launch the hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellite ” Gaofen-5 01A” was launched, and the satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly aimed at major needs such as pollution reduction, environmental quality supervision, atmospheric composition monitoring, natural resource investigation, and climate change research. Oceanographic, surveying and mapping and other departments (fields) provide data services and support. This mission is the 453rd flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.

“Gaofen-5 01A” hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellite was successfully launched, and a high-precision greenhouse gas comprehensive detection satellite will be launched before 2025] At 2:31 on December 9, 2022, the Long March 2D carrier rocket was launched on the Taiyuan Satellite The launch center ignited and launched the “Gaofen-5 01A” hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellite into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

The hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellite (Gaofen-5 01A) adopts the SAST1000 platform and operates in a sun-synchronous orbit of 705 kilometers. After the satellite is put into orbit, it will be networked with hyperspectral observation satellites and atmospheric environment monitoring satellites to achieve global coverage of the atmospheric environment and infrared three times a day. Through the emergency observation capabilities of satellites, rapid hyperspectral revisit observations of global hotspots will be realized. .

The hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellite is equipped with three remote sensing instruments: a visible short-wave infrared hyperspectral camera, an atmospheric trace gas differential absorption spectrometer and a wide-range thermal infrared imager. “Space inspector” role, patrolling the surface temperature around the clock to improve the application efficiency of infrared data.
Hyperspectral comprehensive observation satellites will be used in ecological environment dynamic monitoring, natural resource investigation, atmospheric composition detection, etc., which will greatly improve the global air pollutant monitoring capabilities, and significantly improve my country’s awareness of point sources of greenhouse gas emissions such as methane and water pollution. The regional macro-regulatory ability can strongly support the prevention and control of complex air pollution, help win the “pollution prevention and control battle”, provide support for the protection and restoration of important national ecosystems, actively respond to global climate change, and build a beautiful China.

It is reported that the Eighth Academy will launch a high-precision greenhouse gas comprehensive detection satellite before 2025 to realize active and passive greenhouse gas homologous monitoring, and help build an ecological environment satellite system with basically complete monitoring elements…
