The evaluation experts for this event are the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center of the National Space Administration, the Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education, the Joint Research Center for Deep Space Exploration of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Science and Technology Exchange Center, the Science Communication Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundation, It is composed of experts recommended by the Science Popularization Department of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, the China Science and Technology Museum, and the China Aerospace Foundation, as well as experts in various engineering systems. The preliminary selection is divided into three groups: elementary school, middle school, and university. The review takes the form of project report, concentrated discussion, and expert scoring. It fully considers the characteristics and ability of students of all ages, and conducts comprehensive evaluation from the three aspects of innovation, science popularization, and engineering realization. According to the scoring of experts, 5 in the elementary school group, 6 in the middle school group, and 9 in the university group were finally selected. A total of 20 projects were shortlisted.
